SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 49

Congratulating the Parkersburg South High School wrestling team for
winning the 2002 Class AAA championship.
Whereas, Parkersburg South High School competed in the 55th
Annual West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament; and
Whereas, The Parkersburg South High School wrestling team won
its fourth consecutive state championship title; and
Whereas, The Parkersburg South High School wrestling team is
the first team in Class AAA history to win four consecutive
wrestling championships; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the Parkersburg South
High School wrestling team for winning the 2002 Class AAA
championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to coach Tim McCartney and team members
of the Parkersburg South High School wrestling team.
